Crime of unlawful invasion into and destruction of information system of computer have been regulated respectively in section 285 and 286 of Chinese Criminal Code. But convictions are very few in our present adjudication practice, which plays an inharmonious notes in comparison to current computer crimes and relative research waves pushed forward by scholars. The article recommends the notion of "crime of jeopardizing the information system security of computer" as category accusation of above mentioned two charges at an angle of criminal law. Definition is given based on deep analysis of reasoning and significance of the notion. Discussion goes further into classification of detailed charges and concerning issues raised in judicial practice. Suggestions about the perfection of relating lawmaking, establishment of new charges such as crime of sending rubbish e-mails, negligence and unit crime and new penalty methods. In addition, the thesis also discusses verdict issues on whether guilty or not guilty and which crime has been committed.
