Now we are facing an era of advanced technology that leads to economical globalization and cultural approbation. In the long history, the glory of scientific management's "tool ration" is quite short. Nowadays, tool ration is quite unnecessary and costs too much. Human society will be harmonious eventually. So, it is safe to say that, the return of management thoughts from scientific management confined to the techniques, methods and processes to humanitarian management emphasizing on human beings is a revolution "return to the nature".During the last decades, the dominant ideas of Chinese management are westernization, which is copying the scientific management. But, since the assumptions and realities are different from China, there's no scientific foundation for the "borrowed theory". Thus, it requires us to search into the humanitarian management thoughts based on our own unique culture and economy and probe how westernization gradually changes into merger between China and west. And, to see clear the inner mechanism of the merger. Management shows us not only a true world, but also a spirit state of how to run through the marks of individual's opinion, attitude and idea and a way to promote humanity and the value of life. So "rethinking about human nature "should be the cutting point of Chinese management research. Now some scholars do begin researching into China's long management history and the truly space of human beings. But, it is a pity that none of them ever researched deep into the concrete characteristic and driving force of the return of management thoughts.In this essay, the author tries to make up this defect. On grasping the inner logic and combining the soul of management thoughts with the latest developments of the practice, the author depicts two routes of the return as from west to China and gradually humanism and tries to unify them into the scope of "science converse to humanism". Then, in managerial and economical angels, the author argues that the driving force of the return is individual's desire to develop fully and freely. Moreover, the author attempts to provide the cutting point and theoretical guide to build up the Chinese own management system, which is originated from the ancient thoughts and adapts to the world trend.
