The Research Of The Factors In The Handicap To The Farmers Adopting The New Agricultural Technology--A Typical Example, Farmers In Northwest Of HeBei

"Three Agriculture" problems are the focus in China today, and the farmers are the key to the "Three Agriculture". To increase the farmers' income and realize the wealthy life ,not only relay on improving the agriculture technology and promoting the fanners' love of knowledge, but also need a basket of new technology to be accepted and adopted by the farmers own will . This thesis is a research about the condition of farmers' accepting the new technology during 2000 to 2002 , based on the questionnaire and talking from farmers of three villages, CunRui of Huailai county, TaoHua of Yuxian county and SanHao of Zhangbei county ,which each has a different level of income . Based on these surveys, the thesis describes how about the farmers accept the new agriculture technology , analyzes the factors such as economy , nature , society and so on, which delay farmers to adopt the new agriculture technology, confirms the key handicaps, provides the research result and policy suggestion. The analysis of the questionnaire indicates that the handicaps are such an order : less income, less farm, rather fragile ability to defend the venture, fewer knowledge, tradition and custom value, out of the date policy and system of promoting technology, unsoundness economic organization and the difficult level of the new technology.
