Study Of The Adjustment Of Economic Structure In Wansheng District

From the 90's of last century, the adjustment of economic structure has become the trends of globalization. In the development of China's western region, especially since the 16th National Congress of the CPC, Wansheng, as the only industrial and mineral district in Chongqing, should depend on the superiority of regional resources and market condition to realize the rational disposition of essential factors of production, to be more competitive and to develop distinguished economic structure and industry layout. It is the key point for Wansheng, a city of resource, to seize opportunity and speed up development. Under such an economy and policy, it is much significant to study the economic structure of a resource-typed city. In fact, studying the economic structure of Wansheng, aims at finding out an effective way to develop resource-typed city by scientific theories and methods, and to set up a successful example for the similar cities in other areas.This paper has six parts. Each part is abstracted as the following words.Part one: Preface. This part mainly explains the connotation of the adjustment of economic structure and believes that the adjustment of industrial structure is the primary task of economic structure. Meanwhile, the significance of the study, the progress and application of the study in domestic and abroad, the important content, main features and technological route of the study are orderly explained.Part two: The scientific theory of the adjustment and layout of industrial structure.This part mainly explains the theory of the adjustment and layout of industrial structure in domestic and abroad, then raise the methods of the adjustment of industrial structure in Wansheng.Part three: Analysis of the state of Wansheng district. This part argues that Wansheng should adjust the economic structure as soon as possible, by analyzing and assessing the resource environment condition and present develop condition.Part four: Analysis of the industrial structure of Wansheng. This part mainly explains and dissects the features and existing problems of industrial structure of Wansheng.Part five: Strategies and suggestion for the adjustment of industrial structure of Wansheng. According to the analysis of the opportunity which Wansheng is facing, this part mainly proposes the way for the adjustment of Wansheng, and the specific steps to perfect and optimize the industrial structure of Wansheng, which are 'develop tour industry, construct based-on-tour district', 'speed up industrial development, build industrial strategic town', 'lengthen industrial chain, build green city'.Part six: Conclusion. The result of study shows that Wansheng has to keep pace with the times and have scientific develop view, in order to become a resource-typed city, industrial strategic town and green city.
