Study On Regional Economy Difference Of Zhejiang

In this paper, regional economy difference of Zhejiang, which is regarded as the main line, is studied by the combination of qualitative analysis and quantitative research, normative analysis and empirical study, the dissertation has made a deeply research on the time-series change, space constitution and causes of regional economy difference of Zhejiang. Through the analysis of time-series change, the author has discovered that both absolute difference and relative difference had extended, detailedly, absolute difference had been increasingly broadingin the period of 1990 to 2002, relative difference's variation had a steady track during the time of 1990 to 1994, it probably began to appear a comparatively obvious extension trend in 1995 and kept it on to 2000, then it turned into contraction in the following two years, through the analysis of space constitution, the author has known that regional economy difference of Zhejiang mainly belongs to the difference between south-west of Zhejiang and north-east of Zhejiang, but it is totally reduced, actually, the extension of regional economy difference of Zhejiang chiefly resulted from the extension of regional economy difference of south-west of Zhejiang. Based on the study on the situation of economic development variety of 11 vice-province districts in Zhejiang, the author thinks that a high speed of economic development of WenZhou, TaiZhou and JinHua, on the one hand, favoured the decrease of economic difference between south-west of Zhejiang and north-east of Zhejiang, on the other hand, it resulted in the extension of regional economy difference of south-west of Zhejiang. through the empirical analysis of causes of regional economy difference of Zhejiang, influence upon economic development of 11 vice-province districts can be understood which had by such factors as development foundation,system environment, economic construction and investment, hence it offers reasonable inner basis to the variation of regional economy difference of Zhejiang. Based on the systematic analysis of regional economy difference of Zhejiang and its causes and rational thought on modulation of regional economy difference, the author thinks that it is necessary to solve the problem of regional economy difference in the course of economic development of Zhejiang through the way of coordinated development of regional economy, it could be commenced from six aspects as follows: fulfil and improve macro-control system; establish management organization ofregional economy and its monitor system; lead to form system environment beneficial to coordinated development; strengthen regionally horizontal unity and cooperation; make good use of urbanization to advance coordinated layout of regional economy; promote coordinated development of regional industrial structure, to attain the purpose of promoting circulation of stability, coordination and efficiency of the whole national economy of Zhejiang province.
