The Research On The Adjustment And Development Of The Industrial Structure Of The Pipeline Businesses

After petroleum industry being reconstructed, China petroleum and natural gas pipeline bureau had to undertake non-core businesses, including pipeline constructing, diversified economy and burdensome historical bundles from former enterprise. Under the new situation, to survive and develop, the pipeline bureau has to adjust its industry structure and search for new developing trades.On the basis of analyzing the theories of industry adjustment and strategy management ,the author probed the problems and difficulties existed in the present industries of the pipeline bureau. These industries can be divided into six group .including pipeline design and construction, machinery production, oil and gas transportation, technical services, diversified economy and logistics sevices.After giving above-mentioned analysis, the author concludes three problems existed in the industry structure of the pipeline bureau. The three problems are quantitative problem, profit-making ability and interrelations of industries. Then, the author proposes a framework for the pipeline bureau developing strategy analysis, and analyzes the external circumstances and internal strength and uses the tool of SWOT .At last, the author ascertains the operation domain and points out the industry adjustment way for the pipeline bureau.
