Firstly, the paper minutely introduces the conception and traits of AE, and puts forward the steps of formulating agile strategy by comparing AE with traditional enterprises. Secondly, directed to the concrete problems of constructing AE, the paper discusses the principals and key factors of constructing AE in the aspects of organization, technology and personnel, which include flat and flexible organization structure, agile production system and personnel principals. In the meantime, based on the increasingly extensive application of networking technology in the industrial manufacturing, the paper expounds the construction of information system. Then, aimed at the evaluation of agility in the enterprises, the paper setsforth the improvement strategy of agility. Lastly, according to the present situation of our country and manufacturing industry, the paper objectively analyzes the superiorities of carrying out the Agile Engineering in our country, and brings forward some suggestion about this, such as agile strategy training, AVE and moderate automation, which will offer methods and supports to constructing the 21st AE.
