Research On Industrialization Of The Nanometer Technology In Guangzhou

The rise of the nanometer technology has posed a considerable challenge to the world economy, attracting attention from various nations-the developed countries, in particular. And this has provided us with an unprecedented opportunity for China to catch up. As one of the regions that have enjoyed the fastest economic growth, Guangzhou cannot, under any conditions, afford to miss this chance. Thus, to maintain her stable growth in economy, the strategy to push forward the nanometer technology and its industrialization is of vital significance.This paper, first of all, clarifies such major concepts as nanometer, nanometer technology and its industrialization, and then it points out that for Guangzhou, the development of the nanometer technology should be attached the greatest importance in light of development of high and new technologies. This article also tries to analyze the process and characteristics of nanometer technology abroad and compares the present status of the industrialization of the technology between China and other major countries in the world.The article focuses on the process of industrialization of the nanometer technology and the chief factors affecting such a process, including such varied spheres as technology, financing, management, marketing, and government role. Furthermore, it carries out an analysis of venture capital and the roles of the GZ municipal government and the problems in existence. As for the problems and barriers in developing the technology, the article attempts to put forward some measures and suggestions concerning policies from the government: on the basis of establishing the nanometer R&D base, the model of government-research institutes-enterprises should be adopted, so that the role of government-may be exerted to the full, and a creative platform for nanometer technology, information and relents shall be set up. Gradually, the status of main body of the nanometer enterprises may be developed and perfected, and in the end, there may arise a smooth flow of capital, technology, talents, management and information in the nanometer base and the process of industrialization of the nanometer technology may be finalized.
