| How does a company develop its quality management system to a higher level after it has passed quality management system conformity certification is an important issue. The thesis provides a new idea for this kind of company, that is to keep and improve the effectiveness of the management system continuously. The thesis makes some analysis and studies the present situation and system of quality management of North China Petroleum Steel Pipe Co. Ltd. After taking into consideration about some aspects need to be improved, the thesis puts forward some improvement measures and provides a detail explanation about them. Actually, the quality management system of North China Petroleum Steel Pipe Co. Ltd. has been enhanced step by step through being taken measures on seven aspects.Through the studies on three quality principal processes and their improvements of product design and development quality, product manufacturing quality, customer service quality of North China Petroleum Steel Pipe Co. Ltd., the thesis puts forward ideas about realizing continuous improvement in companies. On the aspect of analyzing procedure control for manufacturing process, it uses process capability index, process quality control method combined with the application of control chart. The thesis elaborates the process of product quality improvement through illustrating the increase of pipes' qualified ratio. In research, the thesis makes use of some statistical theories and methods. The study closely links with the present situation of North China Petroleum Steel Pipe Co. Ltd. Thus, the thesis is quite meaningful to the quality management system of North China Petroleum Steel Pipe Co. Ltd.
