Due to highly complicated structure and flexible operation conditions of process equipment, considerable time is required for data querying and calculation in the process of type-selection, quotation and fault diagnosis. Furthermore, the process equipment manufacture industry is confronted with the flinty challenge of the competitive global market. However, the emerging of the Internet and development of the E-Commerce technique also bring the process equipment manufacturers great opportunity. Under the circumstance of facing both challenge and opportunity, it is suggested the enterprise make full use of the E-Commerce and web based technology such as web-based design, quotation and remote fault diagnosis for its product. Only in this way, the enterprise can shorten the manufacturing and circulation cycle of the product, reduce the business cost, speed up the capital circulation and thus lead to the final improvement of its competitiveness.In the thesis the network-cooperative E-Commerce system of plate fin heat exchanger (PFHE) is studied and developed according to the characteristics of PFHE which is a typical compact heat exchanger product. The major work in this thesis is given as below:1) Based on open literatures related to E-commerce, progress of E-commerce in process equipment manufacturing corporations both at home and abroad have been reviewed. Possible further improvements are suggested for Chinese manufacturers.2) In light of the life cycle analysis of PFHE, a prototype of the network-cooperative E-Commerce system of PFHE has been designed. The framework of the system, composed of type-selecting module, quotation module and fault diagnosis module are proposed. The browser and communication protocol and corresponding database are decided.3) The type-selecting system, quotation system and fault diagnosis system of web-based PFHE are developed by ActiveX and ASP technology. The heat exchangermodels are selected rapidly and precisely through the second type-selecting. The quoting model of the heat exchanger is decided, which includes technical quotation, finance quotation, commerce quotation. Furthermore, intelligence database of fault is built for fault analysis of the PFHE, which may give the causes of fault and provide the solution according to the fault phenomena of PFHE.In summary, by developing web-based commerce system of PFHE, the present work provides a prototype of network-cooperative commerce for medium and small-sized process equipment manufacturing enterprise in China.
