As the development of market economy, China distribution industry is acting as more and more important role :rising from traditional end industry to forerunner one .By achieving the efficiency of distribution system not only helps to develop distribution industry but affect every part in society economy. So it is crucial to build supply chain management leaded by.The perceptien of supply chain was first put forward in 1960's, which aimed at production enterprises, so the producer was always the leader of supply chain at that time. But, in recent years, the market environment changed from the seller's market to the buyer's market. And because supermarkets are the fast grown retail industrial and are subjected to be pounded after china entering WTO, So, this article chooses distribution industry, and take the supermarket as industrial representative to research how to achieve core competitiveness of distribution industry.First, this article confirms the efficacy of the supply chain management (SCM) depending on the analysis to theory foundation of SCM. Then, discusses the base and content of distribution businesses designing and marking out supply chain management as leaders .Part three expounds the fact that the supermarket as industrial representative how to manage the goods stocked and saled , suppliers, material flow . At last, manages to give countermeasure to distribution business supply chain in our country.The author starts from theory and makes use of qualitative analysis by many cases, charts and pictures, getting the conclusion that distribution industry in China should manage the supply chain effectively, thus meet the challenge from foreign counterpart.
