A Research Of Logistics Management Of Material Supply Enterprise In Electrical Power System

After China enters WTO, the electric power industry will face austere challenge with the electric power market being open. The foreign investor will increase their investment in electric power industry from a long-term view while the number of international trade of domestic electric power industry is very small at present. The domestic electric power companies which have been protected for a long time lag behind the foreign companies in such aspects as capital, technology, and person with ability and management. With the deepening of the market reform of electric power industry, the material department which acts as a portion of the electrical power company will be separated from the electrical power company and participate in the competition as a member of the market in view of the requirements of decreasing cost and improving core competition strength. These material companies of electrical power will face the challenge from both domestic and foreign companies and the competition will upgrade.Domestic companies attach importance to production and make light of circulation, which result in enormous logistics cost. The enterprise will pay more attention to the "third party" profit resource of logistics with the increasing competition and the first and second profit resource being drying up. It is absolutely necessary for the electric power material companies to utilize advanced theory of logistics management if they want to constitute own advantage in the new market circumstances. The electric power material companies have to take into account suchpractical problems as how to establish the market circumstance suited for China and the own logistics system suited for the electric power material companies.This discourse first describes the basic concepts of logistics, optimizes the logistics system of electric power material companies and brings forward the emphases of logistics management control by combining the background of the electrical power industry and considering the practical instances of domestic electric power material companies.
