| Industrialization is necessary to social improvement, and it' s also an important mark in deciding certain level of social productivity. Since the first Five-year Plan, our country has gone into the process of industrialization. Especially since China' s carrying out Reform-and-Open Policy, our national economy has achieved great achievements. However, we should realize, as a developing country with the largest population in the world, industrialization is to be completed. Looking at the present world, the tide of informatization, which rapidly penetrates into every aspect of our society, becomes the major tendency to the development of world economy and social development. With the development of new technological revolution all over the world, especially with the development of information technology, the world is changing from industrial economy to knowledge economy. In this situation, traditional industrialization road can' t supply the changes of the world nor correspond with our national conditions. Consequently, we must find out a new industrialization road which can both accomplish the goal of our industrialization and keep pace with the tide of world informatization. The Communist Party of China, grasping the main chance, made a decision in the 16th National congress that the new industrialization road which is characterized by " Informatization puts forward industrialization, and conversely industrialization promotes informatization" . This paper, from a macroscopical point of view, hasadetailed description of the evidence and characteristics of the new industrialization road and conditions and measures of carrying it out; makes theoretical analysis from the perspective of economics &. philosophy. And some personal ideas are presented.This paper is mainly made up of four parts:In the first part, reasons of choosing the new industrialization road are expounded. The paper firstly objectively analyzes the stage that our present industrialization is in-the middle stage in terms of average GDP, industrial structure, employment structure and urbanization level. So we should continuously complete our industrialization. In doing so, we must choose a new industrialization road. This choice has sufficient reasons: the Theory of New Economy Development, the Theory of Advantage of Backwardness, and Marx' s Theory on the Free and All-sided Development of Individuals provides the theoretical evidences for our choosing the new industrialization road; at the meantime, knowledge economy, the background of informatization times, and our basic national conditions of population, resources and environment supply the realistic evidence.To be next, the characteristics of our new industrialization road are set forth in the second part. Comparing with the traditional industrialization road, this paper describes the characteristic of our new industrialization road-interaction between industrialization and informatization; high technology content; good economic benefits; low resource exhausts; less environmental pollution; and full play of talent resourcess. From these characteristics, we can see we surely should adopt the new industrialization road, which corresponds, with our national conditions.What' s more, advantages and difficulties that we face when choosing the new industrialization road are analyzed in the third part of the paper. Peace and development-theme of the times, strengthened overall economic productivity, deepened reformation of economic system, and development of Reform-and-Open activities show that under the leadership of our Party, China has had basic conditions for choosing the new industrialization. Meanwhile, a series of difficulties still exist, such as the threats of international hegemonism, irrational economic structure, low technology creativity, low extent of informatization, reformation of political system to be completed, and etc. Above all, we should make full use of advantages and make up forshortcomings, to ensure the successful implementation of the new industrialization road...
