Study On Model In Which Project Clients Manage Construction Process

Construction industry is one of the earliest industries to adopt project management and as the project law was carried out, LuBuGe construction management experiences have played a model role in mending pace of the reform of construction industry and construction management system in China. Based on more than ten years' practices and research ,the project management system and a series of professional systems have been set up with the reference to international conventions. Whereas the project management mode of china is not diverse, which has attracted attention of the government, experts and scholars. With China's entry into WTO, it has become more and more pressing to establish various project management modes in China.This paper is aimed at advancing a sort of project management mode of project clients' own management of the construction process, which is based on the capable project management personnel of many real estates industries in china and the ability to manage and develop projects well, while leaving construction engineer supervision and management aside. Above all, a brief introduction is made to the project clients' management of the construction process in China. The construction process is the building process of the project entities revolving many aspects. Therefore it is very crucial to the success of the project to take a good control of this process. Solutions have been put forward to the problems in the construction process, and then followed by a case study of a certain real estates company in Chongqing. Secondly, an introduction has been made to several popular international project management modes and client's project management of U.K, then the contrast and analysis of the construction process and the project management modes are made ,and the feasibility is offered.In the last part, the project management mode of project clients' own management of the construction process is brought out, Proposals are advanced for the project management by means of setting up project management corporations by the real estates developers, which is a try of the mode of project client' own management of the project process, and for client's project management.
