Research On Indicator System To Evaluate International Competition Of Commercial Banks In China

As international economy and finance changed more integrative, all trades in many countries had paid more attention to evaluate international competition. The meaning of financial institutions is more and more important to all countries in the world. As a developing country, commercial banks are main part of financial institutions in China. To enhance international competition of our commercial banks as soon as possible, firstly, we should evaluate it correctly. The author absorbed reasonably the advantages of other viewpoints. At the same time, the author made great effort to remedy their shortages. The new ideas of the thesis include the following aspects: first, its theory basis is theoretical system about competition of corporations; second, its methodology is systems theory. The whole indicator system includes six factors of competition of our commercial banks: (1) capital and profit ; (2) management; (3) science and technology ; (4) basic infrastructure ; (5) quality of banking staff ;(6) environment. Furthermore, evaluation about the six factors is discussed from three aspects.
