With the reform of mechanism and the innovation of management measures of the petroleum industry in our country, management pattern of the land used for petroleum also experienced constant change. Establishment of the modern enterprise system of the petroleum industry demands much more from the acquisition, usage and sustainable use of the land used for petroleum. Enforcement of the law of land management amended in 1999 provides legal basis for the reform of the petroleum land system. After several years of practice and exploration, there are still many problems left to be solved, such as unclarity of property right, miscellaneous and complicated procedures, low use efficiency, imprudent waste, etc. And those involve land expropriation and demolition management need to be tackled as soon as possible.The above-mentioned problems deserve our attention to the research on the management of the land used for petroleum. Through proper management and operation of this kind of land, we could effectively make clear the property right relationship of the petroleum corporations, improve their management level, decrease the cost of corporate strategy, and finally establish modern enterprise system and achieve the goal of sustainable development.Daqing oilfield is the biggest one in our country and it has done a lot of contribution to economy construction and energy safety. But nowadays, as the oil production capacity for sustainable exploitation has gradually decreased, the sustainable development of Daqing oilfield encounters a lot of problems. As for the key effect land management do to the process of oil exploitation, it is necessary to do research into land management of reformed Daqing oilfield. Having analyzed the present problems of land management, the article puts forward particular countermeasures, which is important to the realization of sustainable development of Daqing oilfield.
