The thesis use latest technology to design and develop a theoretical network inventory management system and finish detail Database designing and programming based on research of modern inventory management theory.Thesis gives the concepts of supply chain, supply chain management, logistics and inventory management etc. gives analysis and contrast differences and relations between traditional logistic and modern logistic, traditional inventory and modern inventory. And give a more deeply analysis on the development of MRP, MRP II, ERP, IM system, and give all round expatiates on modern inventory and its information system technical charactics.The thesis illustrates how we can use UML with the tool Rational Rose to analyze and design a B2B web site Inventory Management under the circumstance of SCM. First, It explains the theory origin and development characteristic of SCM, Modern Logistic and Inventory Management. And then expatiates the operational flow, finishing the process of Object-Oriented Analysis & Design & Development. In the end, it develops a practical B2B simulative inventory management system in SCM. The thesis presents cases in the different phases from analysis to development and uses Rational Rose and UML tools to implement the website, and uses JSP to code.
