Theory Of Intra-industry Trade And Practice Of Northeast District Of Our Country

After World War II, intra-industry trade has developed very fast and it has been theimportant factor that influences the international division and promotes the new and leadingindustry to form. With China's entry to the WTO, the trade contacts and economiccooperation between our country and other countries will be more and more. It is an importantproblem at present to develop intra-industry trade. As the government put forward the tactic ofrevitalizing the old northeast industrial base, t is one of the primary tactics to make foreigntrade fully play a role of engine in the economic growth. So, the study of intra-industry tradedevelopment of Northeast district has strong theoretical and realistic meaning. This thesis has mainly carried on the analysis and research in following respects: 1.On the basis of the research results of domestic and foreign scholars, the thesis makes acomprehensive and objective narration stage by stage to the intra-industry trade theory anddescribes the progress course of it. The innovation in theory of the article lies in that theauthor proposes some new understanding to the stage dividing of intra-industry trade theoryand the classification of intra-industry trade. 2.The thesis has explained intra-industry trade in terms of endogenous comparativeadvantage theory. 3.The thesis makes an empirical study to the intra-industry trade development of theNortheast district of our country for the first time, thus offers some thoughts for the revitalizingof the old northeast industrial base and the further development of foreign trade. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part depicts narrates the development of the intra-industry trade theory on thewhole at first, probe into the questions, such as the developing stage of intra-industry tradetheory and its characteristics, the intra-industry trade index and the classification ofintra-industry trade, etc. The second part analyses the current situation of foreign trade of the Northeast district,and shows the actual development level and the characteristics of intra-industry trade of theNortheast district by intra-industry trade index. The third part puts forward some concrete measure and suggestion for the developmentof intra-industry trade to higher level, such as build scale economy and expand the products ofdifferential goods, and so on.
