Enter 21st century, as the fast growth of our national economy and our country join WTO, Chinese automobile industry got great development with the development of national economy. During the opening to the outside world, automobile industry successful introduced foreign capital, advanced technology and management mode, meanwhile, the automobile enterprise will face the competition pressure of international and domestic markets directly, thus higher requirements will been put forward, such as changing the operating mechanism, improving the management level, accelerating the technological progress etc.According to the development trends of national economy and auto industry, DongFeng Automobile Company(DFAC) devote itself to structural adjustment marketing and reform, improve enterprises' core competitive ability in marketing and developed. DongFeng Automobile Company predicts that the light-duty bus market demand of our country will reach 340,000 and the market demand of light-duty van will reach 900,000 in 2010. At present the light-duty bus market of China has already reached the historical period of " shuffling again ", DongFeng Automobile Company should catch the rare opportunity in Chinese automobile market, combine various kinds of resources effectively, rely on its own advantage, especially the advantage of chassis technology, produce the light-duty bus products of the whole series, regard new style , wide series , low price , famous brand as the means to cut the market, start the market rapidly, win the competition advantage. So this paper put forward the corresponding countermeasure of DongFeng Automobile Company through the particular investigations of light-duty bus market demand and consumption characteristic of our country.In the part of the introduction of chapter one, the author has analyzed the demand environment of the automobile industry of our country and influence factor, pointed out the research structure of this paper and introduced surveying method and sample to form . In chapter two the author used plentiful data to analysis the overall situation of the light-duty bus (van) market of our country. In chapter three the author analysis the competition situation of the light-duty bus (van) in our country from the six main rivals' basic situations production and marketing situations produce capability in the following several years products planning consumer structure market orientation and competitive method. In chapter four the author analyzed the consumer structure and consumer evaluate of light-duty bus and light-duty van of our country. On the basis of the analysis above, the customer demand characteristic of light-duty bus and light-duty van has been gotten, then the article defined the light-duty bus and light-duty van which satisfied the customer's demand and make a forecast to light-duty bus and light-duty van market. In the last chapter the author analysis the micro marketing environment of automobile manufacturing industry and DongFeng Automobile Company, then put forward the main tactics suggestion that DongFeng Automobile Company develop the light-duty bus and light-duty van.
