Study On Multi-Projects Management In Enterprise

This paper discusses how multi-project management benefits enterprise based on multi-project management of several products in the matrix organization together with the experiences and lessons from actual project management. Analytical observations are also made on the common issues in the process, covering contradiction between project manager and functional manager, conflicts between different projects to contend for resources as well as poorer real-time basis and effectiveness to find and resolve problems by monitoring multi project.This paper analyzes the root causes of the contradictions and conflicts mentioned above different aspectsand gives solutions to specific projects, such as, making clear responsibilities and reporting procedures and giving reasonable authorization, making good use of management skill and giving full play to the role of the vice president.Through addressing the contradictions between project and functional managers. And group management and combination management are proposed to develop resource plan and determine the project priority reasonably so as to allocate resources on a real-time basis by way of resource constraint schedule or resource balancing for resource conflict of various projects. As for degradation of real-time basis to find and resolve problems, an approach is put forward in the paper based on thorough application of special project management techniques, establishment of project management system and team enterprise culture.Now, systematic theories and methods are available for single project management with references to domestic and international reports and books related, however, only a few talks about multi-project management have been seen. So, the analysis on multi-project management and solutions to conflicts in this paper make senses to some extent for reference and introduction to the enterprises that are doing multi-project management.
