After the PHS began to be sold on the market, it got a rapid development while being disputed. In the same way, the Sichuan branch of China Telecom developed its PHS very well at the first phase. But as China Mobile and China Unicom continuously improve their cell phone service level and even lower their charge to compete, the PHS of Sichuan Brach now is facing much difficulty and pressure.Carrying out this research is to find out the competition situation and problem of Sichuan Telecom's PHS market. To accomplish this research, we use three types of technique: questionnaire for quantitative research, depth interview and projective technique for qualitative research. As projective technique is seldom used to solve the market problem, this article is significantly composed of the projective technique part. The objective, design, result and analysis of this technique are all lay out in this article.While got the survey data, this issue also deals with the analysis about those data. Based on the data and analysis, much marketing situation and environment is discussed, and the strategy and tactics of PHS marketing are also given for the reference to the Sichuan market director of PHS.
