On The Spatio-temporal Changes Of County-cities' Development In Zhejiang

Nowadays, the economy of the cities at county level has become the important motive force of promoting the development of the economy of the Zhejiang province. The economy and the city construction of the whole province are also reflected by the development level of county-cities. So it's essential to give full play to the cities at county level in Zhejiang. By using the overall, coordinating and sustainable-development assessment index system, this thesis studies the development level of the cities at county level. Than using space as the main breakthrough point, the paper probes into the differences of the development of county-cities, the spatio-temporal changes and the main factors that lead to these changes. Finally, based on the above-mentioned points, several suggestions of the follow-up development of county-cities in Zhejiang are put forward.This thesis includes five chapters:Chapter one starts with the research background and meaning, establishes the research objects, framework, ways of thinking and research method of this paper.Chapter two summarizes the survey on the study of the index system of the urban development level, than proposes the originality of this research.Chapter three sets up the concrete assessment system of the city development at county level on the basis of a careful analysis from such respects as: the principles of establishing an index system, choice of assessing index and mathematics method.Chapter four talks about the overall development level, the individual development level, and the difference in spatio-temporal development on the basis of the concrete development of county-cities in Zhejiang Province in 2003 and 1996, and summarizes its characteristics separately.Chapter five probes into the main factors of promoting the city development at county level, and combines the assessment result of development level of county-cities, proposes a series of suggestions for follow-up development to facilitate the all-round and steady development of county-cities in Zhejiang Province.
