A Study On NGO Financing Mechanism

The article tries to give a systematic analysis on the Non-governmental organization's financing mechanism. The author gives a general definition to the term of NGO, abstracts some key elements from it, and emphasizes on the necessity of fund to NGO. Finally, the article illustrates the main financing sources and methods based on our country's NGO financing status, existent problems and possible solutions. The article has four chapters and the key contents are as following: The first chapter introduces the general definition and diversified classification on NGO, analyzes the complex relations among the government and enterprises, and describes NGO's special social function. The second chapter discusses the NGO's three fundamental elements, which includes sustainable public interest objective; the volunteer's devotion and fund absorbing mechanism with lower costs. The essentiality of fund and financing is the keystone of expatiation. The third chapter expounds NGO's three fund sources and twelve idiographic financing methods, which relates to principals transformation and performance measurement on NGO's financing. The fourth chapter founds on our NGO's financing status and existent problems; finally it gives some possible solutions from the macroscopical perspective.
