The development of women's education of Modern China played a key role inenhancing women's constitution and expediting their awakening and emancipating.This paper will elaborate the important function of women's education in women'semancipating from three historical period in Modern China. The period when thewomen's education really started to produce great influence is the period ofReformation Movement. The bourgeois reformists'women's education promotedChinese women's initial awakening to some extent, and started the herald of Chinesewomen's emancipating .The period of XinHai revolution the bourgeois revolutionistattached more importance on women's education and connected it with feminism;After the Republic of China being founded, it was established in system. Thedevelopment of women's education produced a lot of women intellectual, who linkedtheir liberation with the destiny of the nation. They pushed the women's emancipatingmovement of the period of Reformation Movement to climax. Women's education inthe period of WuSi new culture movement, with the effort of a good many intellectualand women intellectual, women gained the right of education equality; the education ofWomen common people began to produce. The administrative levels of women'seducation further improved; the range of women who could receive education wasmore and more extensive. They awakened the earliest in patriotic movement and theiremancipating movement, and they had a untiring struggle for national liberation andwomen's emancipating.Women's emancipating depended on the awareness of the women's emancipatingfinally. The function that the development of women's emancipating of Modern Chinaspurred the awakening of the women was very important.
