Shipping industry is increasingly becoming an important sector in the national economy, China is a big shipping country and is becoming more strong. Crew as the major players in maritime transport have made important contributions to the development of China's shipping industry.They engage in the high-risk industry and often face a variety of industrial injuries. Shipping companies provide certain security guarantees including industrial injury insurance and personal accident injury insurance to the crew suffered injuries in order to provide a safety relief. Owing to China has not yet made special legislation on crew's safety and security, standard of industrial injury compensation is not uniform, application of law is confused, industrial injuries identification show a lot of controversy, the disputes of crew industrial injury insurance compensation frequently exist and the interests of the crew are not be effectively protected. Therefore, how to be sure the smooth implementation of crew industrial injury insurance compensation is of great theoretical and practical significance.The artiele takes the crew industrial injury insurance compensation system as the main research object and analyzes the status of crew industrial injury insurance compensation.
