With the development and progress of Chinese society, the non-profit organization is the symbol of the rise of the third sector and civil society, booming up in china. Non-profit sector constructed by a series tremendous organization of wide range operation and large scale development, plays a very important role in prosperity of economy development. Study of non-profit organization in our academic circles started late, especially in construction of supervision mechanism system of non-profit organization. Therefore, how to establish a rational, scientific and effective supervision mechanism has certain intellectual merit and scholar value for the development of non-profit organization. In the early 1990s, American scholar James N.Rosenau putted forward the concept of global governance, and defined that governance is a management in series areas of activities. Global governance as a theory of governance has been highly valued by the scholars in various countries. How to apply theory of governance to the construction of supervision mechanism on non-profit organization is worth to investigated, and can increase the effective supervision of non-profit organization.In our country, by the long-term effects of centralized political culture, state and society is uncoordinated and imbalanced. Therefore, the government's power is tremendous and society's power is weak. In china's national conditions, to investigate the current situation of supervision system on non-profit organization, and found a lot of problems of supervision system of our non-profit organization: government regulation is unreasonable, laws and legislations distempered, management method lags behind, public supervision notion is weak, news media supervision is not authoritative, supervision assessment team and self-discipline can not play the role.In order to perfect our supervision mechanism on non-profit organization, author summarized the experiences in the supervision of non-profit organizations of some foreign countries, basis on multiple participation and governance theory, providing the feasible recommendations to improve supervision mechanism. The thesis consists of five chapters: the first chapter introduces the background and significance of the topic, technical routes and methods of research, as well as innovation. The second chapter is the definition of supervision mechanism on non-profit organization, governance theory and the significance of applying the governance theory to supervision mechanism of non-profit organization. The three chapter research on the current condition of development of non-profit organization and some problems of the supervision mechanism on china's non-profit organization, then give the reasons. The four chapter apply the governance theory to investigate the supervision mechanisms on non-profit organizations abroad from three aspects of government intendance, society supervision and self-supervision of non-profit organization. The last chapter, based on the analysis implemented above, considers the Western countries successful experience on developing supervision mechanism of non-profit organization, how to build supervision mechanism on non-profit organization from two aspects of internal supervision and external supervision.
