Identification of the Carrier has been among the most popular topics in International Carriage of Goods by Sea. In recent years, with the development of the International Carriage of Goods by Sea and Logistics navigation trade, legal subject in International Carriage of Goods by Sea has become more and more complicated, which brings more difficulties to Identification of the Carrier. However, UN Convention on the Contracts of International Carriage of Goods Wholly or Partly by Sea(《The Rotterdam Rules》)passed by General Assembly of the United Nations in Dec, 2008 has developed the definition and identification methods, which explores a new field for the study of Identification of the Carrier.This article has six parts.
