The right to know of consumers, also known as the right to obtain information or the right to understand, refers to the right to obtain or get to know the information, knowledge or other things about the goods and service while he or she buying a good or service. In this paper,, the concept, content, characteristics and so their analysis in order to more clearly grasp the consumers and to protect the right to know.In order to better learn from the world of the inherent right to know the consumer protection legislative experience, the paper examined around the world for consumers to know the relevant laws and regulations and get a summary.This article holds that the legal system to protect the consumers right to know of China has the main problems include the following:legal liability system is still not perfect; can not meet the virtual network, telecommunications and other new types of consumer demand relations; multiple principle of administrative law enforcement, administrative protection system imbalance; means the cost of judicial relief too high. To improve the protection of consumer right to know,we can take some measures:to give the operator the compulsory information disclosure obligations; consumer relations for the development of new special protection measures; limit the terms of the operator form of abuse; set up to punish the operator of the responsibility of improving the civil liability system; in the consumer Law on the Protection of the rights of consumers the right to go back; a well-established procedures for the protection of consumer right to know legislation.
