The Government Trust In Current China

Government trust is essentially a problem of aspirations of the people. As the core of the whole system of social trust, the Government trust is the most important one. Social trust's forming, soliding and developing are all based on the Government trust. People trust government or not will influence government's ability and effectiveness, and government's action will be the key to win public trust and support. Nowadays the government trust crisis is a global problem, and it has been an important research topic during the process of re-engineering government in the western academic area. Current China faces the same problem during the process of social transformation. The study on the problem of government trust in current China, aims to know the status of government trust and point improvement measures to achieve positive interaction between the subject and the object of government trust. The study has great theoretical and practical significance in increasing public satisfaction, enhancing credibility of the government, creating service-oriented government and building harmonious society.This article is structured as follows:Chapter I Introduction is divided into three respects, include the reason and significance, related literature review and research framework and research methods, the second chapter rationalize and summarize the basic theory of government trust, including the meaning of government trust, the possibility and necessity of government trust and the relations between government trust and support.Trust is necessary because it's a simplified mechanism and our human society need it to survive and develop. Government trust related to political stability, economic development, social trust and government performance. Government trust and people support are linked. According to the degree differences of public's behavior and attitude orientation in the political life, trust and support can be combined into four types of relationship, they are trust and support, not trust but support, trust but not support and not trust or support. In this four types, trust and support should be the ideal status for the government to pursue, because it's good to the both sides.Based on theoretical analysis of the Chapterâ…¡, the Chapterâ…¢, Chapterâ…£and Chapter V describe the status quo, affect factors of government trust and the strategy respectively. Then Chapterâ…¤do some targeted strategy study, the specific measures include the transformation of government functions and building a service-oriented government; innovating the idea of being in the power and promoting public participation; combining the traditional culture and introducing e-government; building the government credit system and promoting the legalization of administrative ethics.
