Hu Jintao's "Harmonious World" Thought

The proposing and practicing of this international strategic new idea with Chinese socialism characteristics, responds to the common concern of international community about China's future trend, fights back all kinds of "China threat theory", fundamentally answers what world human hope to have, and how to build such a world these major issues Chinese and international society confront.This article is divided into five chapters except the preface and epilogue.The first chapter mainly expounds the scientific connotation of Hu Jintao's "harmonious world" thought. It summarizes the background of Hu's "harmonious world" from the international and domestic aspects, summarizes the scientific connotation of Hu's "harmonious world" thought based on the background, and make clear the ideological connotation of the Hu's "harmonious world".The second chapter mainly expounds the theoretical and practical significance of Hu's "harmonious world" thought. This chapter regards "harmonious world" thought as inheritance and development of Chinese excellent traditional culture, enrichment and innovation of Chinese characteristic socialism diplomatic theory, and it offers philosophical methodology basis to the treatment of relationship between countries. From the reality, Hu's "harmonious world" is a kind of response to the current unharmonious world, it marks a significant increase in Chinese cultural soft power, fights back all kinds of "China threat theory" powerfully, and provides important external conditions for the domestic construction of a harmonious society.The third chapter mainly expounds the development process, theory basis and practical basis of the "harmonious world" thought. This chapter divides the emergence of "harmonious world" thought into production, establishment and deepening three stages according to Hu Jintao's speech in the United Nations's 60th anniversary summit and the two framework documents about the "harmonious world" on the 17th congress of Chinese Communist Party. On this basis,it takes the thought of Chinese traditional culture about "harmony" thought, "harmonious world" view of Marxism and the "harmonious world" concept of the three generations leading nucleus of Chinese Communist Party as the theoretical basis of its emergence. It's the peaceful declaration as the biggest developing country, and it expand channels by which China influence the world, expresses Chinese wishes of creating world peace and development with other nations, realizing common prosperity by emphasizing the common security and cooperation, which will influence and change the world.
