Study On The Copyright Infringement Liability Of Internet Service Provider

The development of internet and digital technology is a double-edged sword,and the contradiction between the rights and technology is very clear. Internet copyright protection of existing law is not enough, which lead to rule-based in a judicial trial during a large number of network copyright infringements case. The effective copyright protection of the virtual space is very important,especially in the process of amending the copyright law. This requires us to work together to find the reason and order in cyberspace, so that the regulation can be found and the problem can be resolved actively.This paper study the Internet Content Provider, which is a form of Internet Service Provider. The paper (1) clarifies the classification of Internet Service Provider, which is the premise of the deep study. it is very crucial to define the Internet content provider accurately; (2) analyzes the forms of copyright infringement and characteristics of Internet content provider and the liability; (3) makes a comparison about law and practice of domestic and international law; (4) combines with the latest revision of the Copyright Law of our country. Some recommendations are given according to the research.
