The Study On The System Of Assessor Under Diversified Perspective

The system of assessor is the direct embodiment of judicial democracy, and an important safeguard of judicial justice. The design of the people assessor system has begun in China for decades, but for various reasons, it has not achieved real results. The implementation of NPC Standing Committee "On Improving the People Assessor System " marks the beginning of a new era of people assessor system,and it's a major achievement of China's judicial reform. But deep-rooted theoretical issues still exist in the people assessor system and need to be explored, some specific operational problems have not yet been resolved. In a certain extent, these problems affected the people assessor system for the implementation and effectiveness. Therefore, it is necessary to reveals the values of the jury system in the process of development and find the rule of the modernization of our judicial system, so as to demonstrated the values and significances of people assessor system in contemporary China, and clear the necessity and inevitability of the system's implementation and improvement in China, and with overseas experiences and lessons learned, from China's actual conditions, to make the system to be perfect.
