In this instance, the old water town tourist destinations in Shanghai, especially Zhujiajiao, also have a quick development. Taking the case of Zhujiajiao, this paper makes a profound research and discussion on the old water town tourist destinations in Shanghai.The paper is divided into six parts. Part 1 gives a brief introduction of the related researches on old water town tourist destinations at home and abroad. Part 2 analyzes the current situation of Zhujiajiao tourist destination after a review of old water town tourist destinations in the south of Yangtze River. Part 3 is a market analysis. It reveals the features and recognition of the tourist market of Zhujiajiao according to the analysis on its market research. Part 4 gives a profound discussion of the factors which will impact the further development of Zhujiajiao tourist destination.
