At the times of economic globalization and the rapid development of regionalization, compared with regional cooperation of other areas in the world, the regional cooperation of East Asia is stagnant obviously, there is still a big difference the demands of the people of this area, which is not undoubtedly favorable to the realization of the common goal of the peace, stability and prosperity of East Asia.This text reviews the retrospect of the cooperative course of East Asia simply,summarizes the cooperative current situation correctly and use national politics and policies theory, constructivism and realism to analyze the main reason that is stagnant. Of course, a lot of questions really exist in the regional cooperation of East Asia, but there are no good grounds for it to hold a pessimistic attitude, because the regional cooperation of East Asia faces the unprecedented opportunity, which is not only comes from the internal and external pressure, but comes from the drive of intra-regional economic development. What's more, the collective approval is taking shape progressively. But, considering the complexity of East Asia's, to strengthen regional cooperation, through setting up East Asia free trade area to East Asia community, the road is still long and full of hard.As a big country of East Asia, China ought to make practical strategy to be a positive participant, pusher of regional cooperation of East Asia, and must make great efforts to realize the conciliation between China and Japan. In this text, the author uses the politics and policy theory, constructivism and realism to analyze stagnant reasons of the regional cooperation of East Asia.The fourth part analyzed prospect of the regional cooperation of East Asia. First of all. the article thinks that the regional cooperation of east Asia faces the unprecedentedopportunity: The internal and external pressure increased continuously, the lasting motivation of the economic factor and the collective approval taking shape gradually; Secondly, I have thought on the road to advance the regional cooperation of east Asia; Finally, China ought to play an essential role in the course of regional cooperation of East Asia as a big country in the area, thus, there can lay the strategic platform for the peaceful rising of our country.
