There is comprehensive price dispersion phenomenon in commodity market, while the reason of different commodity is distinct respectively. Research of price dispersion will have significance undoubtedly for both theory and practice. This article focuses on research of price dispersion in FPDTV market in our country, aimed to strengthen our FPDTV Corporation and consummate FPDTV market in our country.First, it summarizes the research of price dispersion and analyzes and discusses theory of that. Secondly, many surveys are taken to understand transverse and longitudinal price dispersion in FPDTV market. Thirdly, a few FPDTV Corporation, which include SAMSUNG, SVA, AOC are also surveyed to exhibit the Corporation character about brand build and price competition. The result is that overseas Corporations are strengthening brand build, while domestic Corporations are engaging in price competition. Fourthly, this article analyzes consumer character through interview consumer, and finds that consumers consider price and others after brand when make decision to buy FPDTV. Finally, based on this theory and empirical research, it put forward some strategies that good for longtime development of domestic FPDTV Corporation, which include technology, person with ability, brand build and so on.
