With the development of technology and management, the problems of technology and management become more and more complicated and multidimensional, especially the wide application of Internet. They don't only break the limit of communication between the companies, but also change the way of people'understanding and solving the problem which is changing from the thinking way of point and line to the thinking way of lay and multidimension. The management thought is also changing from vertical thinking to transverse thinking. The transverse thinking is becoming a hot topic and new seek in the international field of management and the business circles. Supply chain management is one of them. Supply chain is a term that describes how organizations (suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and customers) are linked together. Supply chain management is a total system approach to managing the entire flow of information, materials, and services from raw material suppliers through factories and warehouses to the end customers. As a new industry, logistics appeared in the way of the third part logistics. Logistics is that part of the supply chain process that plans, implements and controls the efficient, effective forward and reverse flow and storage of goods, services, and related information between the point of supply and the point of consumption in order to meet the customers'requirements. Logistics include transportation, warehousing and storage, material handling, packaging and so on. In general, the suppliers and demand is called the first part logistics and the second part logistics. But the third part logistics takes on the greater logistics function. As to the forth part logistics, it provides a comprehensive service for the total supply chain. The forth part logistics is a supply chain integration which provides a comprehensive service of supply chain by assembling and managing its own and others'resource, capability and technology. From the concept, the forth part is a leading logistics supplier which provides a comprehensive service of supply chain by influencing the total supply chain. It is obvious that the forth part logistics can integrate the social resource and share the logistics information on the base of solving the problem of enterprise logistics. In fact, logistics have become a part of supply chain and changed the connotation of traditional logistics. With the development of supply chain, some new characters appeared in the traditional stock, purchase, and logistics. With the development of logistics, the logistics management is becoming more and more complicated. The third part logistics don't meet the demand of the customers. So we have the forth part logistics. The main function of the forth part logistics should be monitoring the supply chain of manufacture and distribution enterprises, and acting as a sole "contactor"among the customers and their logistics and information suppliers. In the situation, I wrote the article which analyzed the operation entity , the operation mode and the business process of the forth part logistics. About the Chinese forth logistics, I gave account on the present condition and the existing problems and proposed the suggestions on its development and improvement. Main content: (1)At first, the article introduced the concept of supply chain and supply chain management, and analyzed the principle and step of implement of SCM. It also introduced the concept and character of logistics. The third part logistics has the obvious advantage in optimizing the logistics resource, which helped the consumers to manage the logistics by the way of SCM, and dealt with the end task of supply chain, such as returns and product package. Following the basic principle of supply chain system, the product should be delivered in the time and place near to the consumers. The third part logistics can greatly shorten the deliver term, and improve the service quality by the globe deliver and service network.
