With uninterrupted progress of reform and opening and continuous development of the Socialist market economy, the corporation culture draws more and more extensive attention and emphasis from both enterprise and academic circles in China. People gradually feel that the corporation culture has already become a key factor for core competitive power of the enterprise. Advanced experience in the developed countries shows that construction of the corporation culture is the forceful guarantee for enterprises to promote their international competitive power. However, though research activities on corporation culture and theory in China becomes increasingly active in recent years, and many enterprises highly emphasize it during the work, and obtained certain achievements during practice, there are many problems to be solved theoretically and practically during the practice. Therefore, in view of theoretic formation and practice development for construction of corporation culture, the author of this thesis carries out deep and systematic study and probe, and forwards his own viewpoints and opinions about it. Firstly, concerning the course of objective formation of the corporation culture, this thesis deeply analyzes the concepts of culture and enterprise, etc. On such a basis, it defines the concept of the corporation culture, and expounds its formation, course of formation, influencing factors, function and characteristics, and submits the significance for construction of the modern corporation culture in China. Actually, the corporation culture means a sum of entire values, belief pursuance, ethic norm, conduct rules, business operation features, management style, tradition and customs formed by long-term initiative of enterprise leaders, and positive acknowledgement, practice and creation of the staff under certain social and macro cultural environment. It has the guiding, restraining, integrating, encouraging and radiating functions, and has the extensive, special, individual-surmounting, continuous, systematic and national characteristics. The construction of the modern corporation culture in China have the significance for the survival and development of human being and enterprise, and for the development of Chinese economy, politics, societies. Secondly, in the aspect of development history of the corporation culture, it summarizes and analyzes the special features of development of the corporation culture in the world and several major modes as well as present situation and existing problems in development of the corporation culture in China. It concludes that the corporation culture is further development of the management theory of the corporation culture, which was derived in Japan, and initially forwarded in the United States. The corporation culture can be divided into the American Mode, European Mode and Japanese Mode, which have their own special features. The development of the corporation culture in China can be divided into the stage of spontaneous generation, and the stage of self-development. When being developed in the recent years, it also encounters many problems: Firstly, it lacks deep theoretic study and conscious practice and application; secondly, it lacks study and application on rational kernel of traditional culture; thirdly, it lacks learning and absorption from the Western modern corporation culture; fourthly, it emphasizes the form of corporation culture but deviates from business management with insufficient workability; fifthly, the creation and personality of the corporation culture are neglected; sixthly, it lacks good interaction with social culture in view of the social environment. Finally, in view of construction and development of the corporation culture, it forwards and expounds the concept and modes for construction of the modern corporation culture in China. In conceptual construction, firstly, we should pay much attention on research of the corporation culture; secondly, we should exercise the advantages of traditional culture and strengthen construction of the corporation culture mainly featured by local culture; thirdly, we should and absorb experience of world-famous enterprise on the corporation culture;...
