Ethics Review Of The Social Security System

As a social individual, the human being always lives in the certain system structure. The rationality of the system, especially whether it conforms to morality or not, has an extremely important influence on the individual existence of the social members and the whole development of the society. Starting logically with the historical retrospect of the social security development, taking the humanities concern and social justice as the value guidance, considering the construction of the harmonious society and the person's all-round development as the basic goal, the paper has made a comparatively systematic ethics review of the current social security system. It is mainly divided into four parts as follows.The first part is the historical transmutation of the social security system and its ethics value orientation. Mainly from the historical development of the social security system, this part has analyzed its ethics basis, the ethics value orientation and its evolution.The second part is the modern social security system and its ethics dimension. It has mainly revealed the ethics pivot of the modern social security system as well as the interaction relations between the modern social security system and ethics.The third part is the ethics dilemma of the current social security system in our country. Mainly from the four different kinds of stratification: the value outlook, the macroscopic system, the policy pattern and the operation process, it has analyzed the ethics deficiency of the current social security system, and further sought the reasons respectively from the three different main moral bodies: the government, the society and the public.The fourth part is the establishment and consummation of the moral social security system. It has mainly proposed that the ethics spirit of the social security core should be based on the humanity, that the basic ethics value of the social security should be the realization of a fair-and-square society and that the key ethics choice of the social security should be giving consideration to both efficiency and fairness.
