| The 3rd Plenary Session of the 16th Party Congress has clearly stated that we must adhere to the idea of people-orientation and all-round, coordinated and sustainable development to promote economic society and human development in all ways and set new requirements for "Five Overall Developments". It is an original idea of scientific development given by the new collective leading body headed by Comrade Hu Jintao, General Secretary of the CPC. It enriches the connotation of development, brings forth new ideas, widens mode of thought and solves problems we may face in development. This is our Party's important understanding of laws of economic society development and creative idea of development as well. The new idea of development is a fundamental change in thinking mode, which is based on the latest development of science bearing human, overall, sound, and forward-looking characteristics. New way of thinking enables Chinese nation to boom. However it is a long way to go and takes time before we establish new way of thinking. We have to overcome all the difficulties we may face and should give up our traditional way of thinking and adopt a new one so as to act conscientiously under the guidance of new thinking mode.
