A Study Of Policy Legitimacy During Society Transformation In Our Country

The concept of policy legitimacy was popularizing along with the expansion of government administration authority in the past ten years. Policy legitimacy is the product of history development. Policy legitimacy is a process that in the process of policy constituted and performed, on the basis of not breaching the constitution or the basic laws, government works hard to make the related person (include related government section and its workers) have an agreement along in the social benefits assigning, make the policy gain the approval obedience and support of people. First, the article elaborates the historical origin of the legitimacy, and criticizes several representative standpoints about polity legitimacy study. Second, the article analyzes the present background of our country, and analyzes the possible influences about policy legitimacy when the society is transformed. Again, the article put forward the possible policy legitimacy crisis from the angle of the relation changed between government and society in the period of society transformation. Finally, the article put forward the counter plan of the policy legitimacy crisis from the angles of both the nation and the society. In the article, the theme is explored through different perspectives from the theoretical analysis to practical contemplation and from present conditions anatomic to foresight studies.
