E-Government Reflection On The Innovation Of Local Government's Management

It is evitable to develop e-government due to the advancement of information technology in governmental affairs. How to reconstruct the government by means of Internet technology, thus providing better and more efficient services for enterprises, the public and the whole society has become an increasingly urgent construction work for the government in each country. As for our local government, it is not only a technical problem to construct an E-government, but also an issue of converting the mode of management for the traditional government. In a sense, it is an issue of governmental mechanism reform and innovation.In time of China's entry to WTO, more attention is focused on the latest development in the e-governments at home and abroad. In addition, more concentrations should be focused on the re-orientation of the governments' roles. Especially in China, how to adjust the relationship between the government and the public with the soul of service and how to actualize the orientation of value for the service to people by reforming the management mode of local government are the keys of all the reforms and innovations for the administration. At present, the popularity of e-government is an important carrier and form for the advance of the administration reform of all the aspects. According to the recent development of Chinese e-government, this thesis is based on the e-government construction of Suzhou whose economy and development lead all over the country. Through the systematic analysis of the concrete measures and achievements, The thesis indicates the inner relationship between e-government and service-government, brobing into the practices and solutions to improve and to enhance the function of local governments in our country. It has thepractical meanings to accelerates local reforms and innovation of the management system.
