This dissertation is supported by "Test System Development of Integrated Traffic Information System for ATMS", which is the fifth sub project of "Techniques Research of Basic Traffic Information Collecting and Data Fusion"funded by the Tenth National Science Project. The dissertation also integrates the project "Traffic Information Collecting and Integrated Traffic Information System"from Shenzhen. Firstly, the dissertation analyzes prevailing logistics development and the exist problems, and then puts forward the architecture, function modules of logistics information platform. The more details are as follows: Chapter 1: This part first introduces logistics development in China, and emphasizes the existing problems and the reasons. Then the author illuminates the significance of this dissertation and provides the main contents. Chapter 2: Through comprehensive survey, this part concludes functional index the logistics information platform should achieve. Further more, the integrated system design, basic function and extending function are described in details. Chapter 3: This part analyzes logic architecture of common logistics information platform, then the sub systems are introduced one by one. Chapter 4: From the point of system architecture of logistics information platform, this part puts forward the original conception of systems frame and the contents of logistics platform. Chapter 5: The key technologies such as GIS, data base of constructing logistics information platform are mentioned. Chapter 6: All study contents are concluded in this chapter, with the deeper research of the project, the chapter also lists some to be studied and perfected.
