On The Functions Of The United Front In Constructing Socialist Harmonious Society

"Harmonious society" involves every aspect of social life and the relationship between human being and the nature, and by nature, it is the relationship between human beings. Thus, "to construct socialist harmonious society" can be regarded as the methodology to solve all the internal contradictions between people in the socialist society. The idea of sticking to extensively bringing every positive factor into full play that the author emphasizes in this thesis has direct connection with the united front. As the contradictory entity of similarity and difference, the united front also reflects and seeks for certain kind of harmony, which is the efficient way for the party in power to construct a socialist harmonious society because it has the advantage in helping to coordinate interest conflict, solve social contradiction and promote social approval. Based on this, in this thesis the author discusses the role that the united front can play in constructing socialist harmonious society from the following three aspects: constructing socialist harmonious culture, coordinating socialist interest conflict and promoting the transformation of public management models in order to form the pool efforts for constructing harmonious society.Firstly, the socialist cultural harmony refers to the harmonious unity of value objectives between the individual, the society and the state in the socialist society, and this unity can be realized by normalizing and adjusting people's ideology and behavior with the mainstream culture formed under the present circumstance of multiple cultural ingredients co-existence in our country and approved by the majority, of which the core mainly consists of the outlook on life, value and belief of patriotism, collectivism and socialism. To sort out multiple cultural ingredients, initiate mainstream culture and bring every positive factor into play in order to serve the objective of constructing the cultural value system of socialism with Chinese characteristics is the starting point of cultural united front. The cultural united front is the important means and way of constructing socialist cultural harmony, and the present cultural united front has its own inevitability of existence and development, so the advantage of the ideology, talents and organization of united front will play an important role in constructing socialist harmonious culture.Secondly, interest coordination makes the existence of the united front become necessary. The present state of the social development of our country has put newdemand on the coordinating function of the united front before us, that is, we should make full use of its coordinating function to widen the channel for democratic participation, improve the construction of the systemization, stylization and normalization of united front, and put the right of democratic participation into effect. And this is the important means for us to sort out multiple cultural ingredients and promote the harmonious and healthy development of the socialist society.Thirdly, multiple government can help to unblock the channel for democratic participation, extend orderly political participation, arouse the enthusiasm of the mass and enhance the mutual approval between the interest of the state, the society and various organs, and this can be of great importance in maintaining the stability of the society and forming the pool efforts for constructing harmonious society. The realization of multiple government in our country must rely on the leadership of the Party and the government, the guarantee of legal system and the support of concrete institutions, and base on the development of the spontaneous organizations, bring the advantageous role of united front in the aspects such as ideology, political resources and organization forms into play and strongly promote the systematic operation of multiple government.
