After the Cold War, the two main parts in the international society disappeared, and it changed rapidly in both politics and economy areas. After the Cold War, Japan wanted to share more space in the political space, and then Japan wanted to become an important pole in the world. In this essay, we will try to analyze this issue.We will analyze from four aspects: politics, economy, military affairs and culture. In politics, there are some important changes. In economy, Japan plays an important part in area cooperation. In military affairs, Japan has made some adjustments. In culture, the new nationalism springs up, and there are many frictions between Japan and its neighboring countries.As it known to all, Japan is a very important and changeable neighboring country to China. We must pay enough attention to its diplomatic policy. It will promote we two countries to understand each other, and it is also very important for we Chinese to ensure our safety.
