Its special advantage and important role gain more and more understanding and recognition from the society and the public. As an important system, good faith doctrine is paid great attention of the notary trade. Based on every sectors of the notary activities, the author begins from the intention of good faith, discusses the intention of good faith, present status of the notary good faith and its reasons, introduction and meaning of the notary good faith, emphatically discusses the shortcoming and organization of the notary good faith system. Combines with the notary practical activities, the author points out that the notary good faith includes not only the certification to the good faith status of the society and market, but also the good faith that the professional notaries should keep and practice. The author also illuminates that the basic characteristics of the notary good faith is the combination of the faith to the morality and the faith to the law. To the application of the notary for the social faith construction, the author does the further illumination.
