Research On The Problems Concerning Our Country's Legislation For The Security Of Information Network

In the world of today, information has become a brand-new social resource. The interlinking and application of information network is the trend of the times in terms of the economic and social development. To make great efforts to develop the technology of information network will not only lead to a leap in the advancement of our country's productive forces, but will also exert great influence over the enhancement of our country's comprehensive national strength.On the other hand, with the quick development of information network, its security is becoming an important issue at the present day. The security of information network is, in turn, measured chiefly by the macro economic and legal environment of the development in information technology. In this case, to construct a security system of information network whose core is the legislative system has become the whole world's common understanding.Our country has achieved notable accomplishment in the construction of legal system within this field, with the laws and regulations concerning the security of information network having been basically formed. However, there still exists many serious problems. For example, the notion still prevails across the country that the development of the related hardware is paid much attention to while the legalization of the security of information network is attached little importance to. Moreover, part of the relevant laws and regulations within the criminal, administrative and civil fields lack far-sightedness, co-ordination and suitability. Therefore, there is an urgent need to complete and perfect our country's legislation as a whole for the security of information network.This thesis, beginning from studies on the course of our country's development in the security of information network and on its fundamental problems, researches deeply into our country's present situation and existing problems regarding the legislation for the security of information network, then based on the use of the advanced experience for reference of other countries relevant to legislation, it raises some specific suggestions, in an attempt to contribute them to the completion and perfection of our country's legislation for the security of information network.
