Since the 1990s, the phenomenon of "The India's Rising" caused more and more concern among the nations. At present, the main signs of India's rising are: the fast development of economy, the ever-increasing military power, and the unprecedented activities in diplomacy. In the recent two years, more and more people were making contrasts on the economy and the real strength between China and India, and some predicted that India would soon exceed China. This paper contrasts the comprehensive national strength between the two nations at present, and gets a conclusion that currently India is still far behind China and the development of India can hardly surmount China in the first half of the twenty-first century. With the rising of India, the international strategic position of India becomes more and more important, and strengthening the strategic co-operation between China and India will have more important meaning. The development of the two countries' relationship in the future will be decided both by the respective development demand of the two countries, and by the judgment of their separate national interest made by their strategists. It is also vitally related with the whole international strategic situation. Currently the two-country relationship is in the best state in the history. We can foresee that the strategic co-operation relation between the two countries will necessarily be further strengthened.
