Approach And Analysis Of The Contemporary Chinese Political Party System In Political Ecology Perspective

Ecology, a branch of biology, is a science studying the interrelationship between animalsand plants and the surrounding environment. Due to its multidisciplinary nature, it hasgradually become a basic discipline of the researches in the field of natural sciences and socialsciences. In the middle of the 20th century, some foreign scholars on politics began to studyvarious political issues adopting the basic theory and research methods of ecology. Partysystem, as a part of the political system, has always been an important topic in the research ofpolitics. It can be recognized as a new theory, a new method and a new perspective to analyzeparty system with the use of basic theory and research methods in ecology. The CPC-led multi-party cooperation and political consultation system, a basic politicalsystem in China, is a socialist party system with Chinese characteristics. The formation of thecontemporary Chinese political party system resulted from Chinese society's development inmodern history. In order to adapt to the ecological and socio-political facts in China, ChineseCommunist Party, along with all circles of Chinese society especially the democratic parties,chose the CPC-led multi-party cooperation and political consultation system solemnly.Rooted in the conditions of China, possessing the most Chinese characteristics and a spirit ofthe times, China's political system proved itself by practice to be with strong vitality andadaptability. At present, the Chinese society is facing profound social transformation;meanwhile, China's Party system, as the core content of China's political structure, is facingenormous challenges as well as unprecedented opportunities for developments. Achievingcontemporary innovation and the development of China's political party system is our greatresponsibility entrusted by history and times.From a ecological and political perspective, through the analysis of Chinesesocial-political changes in history and in contemporary times, also through the analysis of theformation of Chinese party system and its changes, this paper explores the interrelationshipbetween the contemporary Chinese political system and the socio-ecological environment, inwhich the system exists;also this paper explores the ideas and solutions to innovate anddevelop China's political system. This consists of four parts: the first part is the theoreticalinterpretation to the socio-ecological perspective;the second and third parts, based on thehistory and reality, respectively explore China's political party system and analyze thehistorical enlightenment from China's political party system and the new issues we are facing;the fourth part mainly explores the ideas and approaches to innovate and developcontemporary China's political system.
