The territory of nationality in Northwest is regions where minority nationalities live in compact communities in China. They formed special institution culture, perception, lifestyle, social psychology, religious belief, manners and customs etc. All of these essential factors give play to positive role, especially the deep influence to politic development in territory of nationality in Northwest. The point of importance of the thesis is analyses influence factors to politic development, and political ecology is different with other districts because its particular circumstances, which influenced politic development.The first chapter mainly introduces that the connotation of Political ecology, component factor of Political ecology, distinguish between Political ecology with Ecological politic and characteristics of Political ecology in territory of nationality in Northwest. The characteristics of territory of nationality in Northwest are regionalism, nationality, religious and complex, these characteristics determined peculiar nature of politic development.The second chapter elaborates the historical tradition and the politic development of territory of nationality in Northwest. The historical tradition not only positively advance but also negatively blockage politic development, therefore we should guide the people to right historical tradition, make it suit the needs of modernization and promote politic development of territory of nationality in Northwest. We have to develop positive historical tradition, and reform negative historical tradition.The third chapter analyses the influence of national policy and national relation to politic development. With a long period of history, there take shape a relatively conservative social political psychology, which contradict with modern politic. As a result we should lead social political psychology from positive way to fit to modern politic, and go a step further to play a big role in politic development.The fifth chapter introduces the relation between religious beliefs with politic development. The overwhelming majority of minority nationalities who are believe religion in territory of nationality in Northwest, for this reason, religious belief play important role in politic development. We should positively guide the religion to fit to socialism, play full scope to the positive role of religion and promote politic development in territory of nationality in Northwest.
