The Personnel Management Of Social Workers-In The Background Of Building The Harmonious Society

The professional social workers appeared in China recently. The first qualification test of professional social worker was staged in Shanghai 2003.Many people are interested in the new job. The development of social work not only related to the ability of social workers and the personnel management but also related to the social environment. The policy of Building the Harmonious Society suggested that the Chinese government began to pay more attention to the social welfare and the development of human. So that it also provide a good chance to the course of professionalization of Chinese social work.The particularity of social work makes the ability of social workers be the key element of the development of social work. Because of the delay of the localization and the social institutions reform, the professionalization still has many problems.This article consistes three parts:Part One: This part introduced the background of Chinese social work and analyse the importance of social work.Part Two: This part brings up the problems of the professionalization. It contains three units: the fields of social work, the stimulus and the ability of social workers.Part Three: This part brings up the solutions of above problems. I think should pay more attention to the social worker's needs and ensure their rights.
